Abstract(in English) | There are limits to how much IoT power and encryption speed can be improved at the software level. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the hardware. In this paper, the performance of a hardware module using ECDSA was evaluated, which generate keys of similar strength with a key length shorter than that generate by RSA. The hardware module designed for IoT is expected to speed up the encryption and increase the number of processes. The bard with the signature generation chip of ECDSA resembles the IoT edge node, and the board with the signature verification chip is included in the server PC. The communication between these two entities was carried out over TCP/IP, and the frequency, current and voltage at the time of signature verification ware measured. |
