Abstract(in English) | Embedded system that is designed to operate a particular device has a feature that, in addition to power saving and resource limitations, it must respond to various troubles and continue to operate at all times as compared with a general computer. Responsive Multi Threaded Processor (RMTP), a processor for embedded real time processing, provides many hardware functions to realize real time performance, and separates the power supply area of some modules including Trace Buffer and small but fast SRAM which are hardware functions to support debugging. This makes it possible to retain data to some extent even when a trouble occurs in the main power supply system. In this paper, by using these modules, was proposed a non-stop embedded operating system capable of resuming tasks even when power supply of main power source was cut at arbitrary timing, to show its usefulness by RTL simulation. |
