[Poster Presentation] A Userland Implementation of an IP Mobility Support Function using Data Plane Development Kit

Abstract(in English) Some IP mobility support architecture have been implemented in a userland for software portability in different platform. However, the userland implementation may reduce network throughput. This problem is serious in severs required high performance. In this paper, we implement a userland implementation of IP mobility support function using Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK) that consists libraries to accelerate packet processing. As IP mobility architecture, we use MAT (Mobility support Architecture and Technologies) which has been developed by the authors. The paper shows throughput improvement by our implementation using DPDK compared to the existing userland application of MAT.
