Control Air Ventilation Based on Prediction of Occupancy for Saving Energy

Abstract(in English) In recent years, energy saving for commercial air conditioning based on Building Energy Management System (BEMS) is attracting attention. However, there are few examples of air-conditioning control methods that consider predicted value of occupancy which affect the heat load and CO2 concentration, and real environments where the distribution of occupancy is complex, such as commercial facilities. In this paper, in order to saving energy with maintaining comfort, simulation about air ventilation was conducted using predicted occupancy, temperature, time information, BEMS information, etc. Such information and modeling of HVAC is derived from real commercial facility. As a result of simulation, energy was reduced by 10 %.
