A consideration on dynamic control of transmittable areas for information floating in a lattice network

Abstract(in English) Information floating (IF) is a communication method to prevent disorderly diffusion of information in epidemic communication by permitting direct wireless communications only in transmittable areas (TAs). In IF, we usually use a fixed TA; however, using the fixed TA causes the loss of information in TA and the end of IF. To overcome this problem, a method to dynamically control the size of the TA has been proposed in a one-dimensional network model, and the effectiveness of this method has been shown. In this report, we extend this method to two-dimensional networks and evaluate the proposed method in two-dimensional lattice networks by computer simulation.
