Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We aim at unified theory of data transmission in wireless sensor network WSN via a network model termed as mWSN. This model is characterized by involving sink and/or relay mobility. In this report, we deal with mWSN with multiple sinks. Specifically, a grid graph composed of 6×6 nodes is a target modeling one exploring area, and each mobile sink is assigned to one area to collect necessary data. As each sink movement, 8 types of Hamilton cycles are adopted in the paper. We have implemented a larger exploring area composed of four areas above on network simulator ns-3 and found out that more than 4 times difference in packet delivery rate. Besides, the overall processing time took more time than expected, even in a small-scale graph composed of 6×6×4 = 144 nodes. Thus, appropriate sink movement combination must be filtered before we implement a large-scale one on ns-3. To this end, we propose a weighted sink graph model that can extract such combinations. Then, we examine the correlation between ns-3 results and the proposed model, discussing the validity of the proposal.
