Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the widespread use of Special Panorama Cameras and tablet devices, presentation of VR environment has become relatively easy. In addition, it is an important viewpoint for peace education of the next generation to learn from both the harm and damage of Japan in peace education. Therefore, in this study, we conducted a practice class of peace education to learn about the harm and damage of war using spherical panorama Virtual Reality (VR) learning material. The results of this study show pupils were able to consider the atomic bombing from multiple viewpoints. It was also suggested that pupil’s thoughts about the atomic bombing could be swayed and encouraged multifaceted and multilateral thinking.
