| Abstract(in English) | n this paper, we propose a image compression method using secure sparse representations in Encryption-then-Compression (EtC) systems, and evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. Conventional secure image transmission is based on Compression-then-Encryption (CtE) systems where image compression has to be conducted prior to image encryption. As encryption methods in the conventional EtC systems, the secure space coding has been proposed. However, the sparse coefficients estimated by the conventional secure sparse coding are not encrypted. It leads potential risks that the images may be reconstructed when the dictionary leaks due to some accidents. We propose an EtC system to estimate encrypted sparse coefficients from the encrypted images. Simulation results show the images can not be reconstructed when the dictionary leaks. |
