Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Pattern lock, which is one of the personal authentication methods using a touch panel of a smartphone, is convenient and is used by many users. However, pattern lock is vulnerable to shoulder surfing and smudge attacks. Therefore, to improve security of pattern lock on smartphones while maintaining usability, we propose a method that combines the function of pattern lock and handwritten biometrics and report on the results of studies on biometric information effective for individual identification.
