Derivation of Impedance-type Equivalent Network for Short Circuited Parallel Plate Planar Circuit and its Validity based on 2 Dimensional Scalar Eigen Function

Abstract(in English) Rectangular waveguide circuit operated by TE10 dominant mode can be generalized by boundary short-circuited parallel plate planar circuit. These circuits can be divided into in-out waveguide and arbitrary shaped planar circuit realizing desired function. Equivalent circuit of the former is given by mode corresponding multi-transmission line and that of the latter by Foster-type equivalent network, which is given by eigenvalue solution for planar circuit in terms of port impedance. Validity is demonstrated by applying the theory to simple planar circuit.
