Abstract(in English) | Today there is a boom in mountains climbing, a system has an increased for locating position of climbers and detecting victims in early in response to the problem of increasing numbers of climbers requiring rescue. With this system, climbers are observed through server management of position information sent by terminals equipped whit GPS carried by climbers. Most mountains regions are outside the service area of mobile phones, and we construct new transit networks in mountains regions. Because many mountains regions are designated as national parks, and there are difficulties for installing many repeaters, this system covers mountain, that installing minimum numbers of repeaters with long distance communication range and low power movement using solar power. However this system is a need to increase a number of maximum capacity by compressing data that are send by portable terminal because data communication speed of this transit network is slow and there are limited numbers of maximum capacity. This report provide an overview of the mountain climber observation system and a method compressing data are send by portable terminal. |
