Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Perceptual performances and attentional levels were observed in response to vibration motion stimulus at peripheral visual field. Viewers were asked to response for dual tasks of detecting a single vibration in the position of the circular stimulus while gazing at the center of the screen. A hierarchical Bayesian model was employed to extract the features of viewing behavior from observed response data. The estimated parameters showed the correct answer rate tendency, the vibration frequency dependence, and the time series of covert attention. From these results, it was clarified that the perception of vibration motion in the peripheral visual field is affected immediately the motion after the start of vibration.
