Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is essential to analyze the time evolution of body temperature elevation and water loss for evaluating the risk of heat stroke in hot environment. WBGT, which has been prescribed in the ISO standard, is generally given as a fixed and maximum value without time dependence. However, the heat stress may change significantly with time and location in urban areas. In this study, we developed a new risk evaluation system in urban area by combining two simulation models: the micrometeorology model and multiphysics and thermophysiological response model for human. First, the thermal environment around Tokyo Station was evaluated by the micrometeorological simulation. Then, we computed the temperature elevation and sweating for the walking adult and child on two courses in the computed thermal environment. The result shows the risk difference of heatstroke depending on the walking course and age.
