Abstract(in English) In an optical connector manufactured by fixing silica fiber in a zirconia ferrule with an epoxy adhesive, a change in connector temperature causes the fiber withdrawal. The fiber withdrawal is one of important parameters as regards realizing optical connection to obtain good optical properties. In this paper, we report experimentally the influence of the connector temperature on the fiber withdrawal and optical properties of SC connector. We also show a long-term reliability of SC connector on high-temperature condition supposed a high-power transmission.
