Homodyne Detection for Optical OFDM Signal

Abstract(in English) We generated an optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal. The 0th subcarrier was selected as the target subcarrier for phase synchronization, and it was isolated as a guard band some adjacent carriers. As a result, homodyne detection was successful by phase synchronizing without pilot light to the target subcarrier by COSTAS loop. For other subcarriers, the time waveform of I and Q signals from the receiver were detected by simple digital processing such as FFT processing.
