Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Vessel size imaging (VSI) was already reported based on transverse relaxation time images obtained from spin echo and gradient echo sequence. VSI technique is required an intravascular superparamagnetic contrast agent for vessel diameter estimation. Superparamagnetic contrast agent in the papers have become difficult to obtain. We have validated four commercially available magnetic contrast agents for VSI. The ulra-superparamagnetic contrast agent for VSI was required a sufficiently low signal decay, and the plasma concentration should not change within the acquisition time. As a result of the ultra-superparamagnetic iron oxide contrast agents (USPIO) studies, Molday Ion is efficient for VSI because it has an appropriate long half-life time in the blood vessels. We applied the Molday Ion to experimental animal model to confirm the availability for VSI. |
