| Abstract(in English) | In recent years, several mega-constellation projects consisting of numerous LEO (low Earth orbit) satellites have been announced and some operators have started activities to deploy satellites in their constellation. These projects are intended to provide connection services in areas where no broadband services are provided. OneWeb satellite constellation is one of those projects. It will build a global network by utilizing approximately 650 LEO satellites at the initial stage. In this session, the overview of OneWeb satellite constellation project and preparation activities for commercial service launch are addressed. |
