Nonlinear mutual coupling between the pressure and heat release rate fluctuations in pulse combustion

Abstract(in English) We numerically study the dynamical state in nonlinear deterministic dynamical system describing pulse combustion. The dynamic behavior of pressure and heat release rate fluctuations changes from steady-state to chaos via the period-doubling bifurcation with decreasing the dimensionless characteristic flow time. The presence of the phase synchronization between pressure and heat release rate fluctuations is identified by the order parameter. The transfer entropy enables us to quantify the directed flow of information entropy between pressure and heat release rate fluctuations.
