Abstract(in English) | In an environment where many sensors are used, cables for communication and power supply increase the cost of maintenance and the cables themselves. Therefore, the authors are developing a wireless sensor network that aims to remove cables of communication and power supply by achieving both wireless communication and microwave power transmission. In this system, a thin active integrated array antenna (AIAA) is used to reduce the size and weight of the transmitter. In the previously developed AIAA, the output of the power amplifier attached to each antenna was as small as 5 W, so it was not possible to supply a sufficient amount of power to the sensor nodes far from the transmitter. In this research, in order to increase the power output of the transmitter, a power amplifier using a GaN HEMT chip was implemented. As a result of measuring the manufactured high frequency amplifier, we confirmed that an output of 10W and a drain efficiency of 56.49 % . |
