Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we report a designed ,fabricated, and measured results of a 60-GHz-band 2×2 beamform-ing arrray antenna. Dual-feed patch element antenna is used. The objective is to validate 3-D radiation patternmeasurement method and copper balls interconnection technology. Element spacing is 3.0 mm, which correspondswith free-space wavelength of 0.6 0. Phase difference of feeding signal is 45 degree. We evaluate the beamformingcoverage area with gain exceeds 10 dBi. 3-D electromagnetic field simulation and measurement was conducted. Theproposed antenna structure has two substrate stacking structure by the copper balls interconnection technology. |
