Patient simulator for medical education: the current status and future prospects

Abstract(in English) Currently, patient simulators are used in all over the world for medical education. They mimic the anatomy and the symptom of real patients, and medical learners train medical procedure using them instead of real patient. The technology related to AI has potential to improve the patient simulator, but it’s not utilized for medical education now compared to other industry’s case. This paper summarizes the current situation of patient simulators and the future prospects to consider how to improve them by technology related to AI.
