Abstract(in English) The author summarized trends and definitions of the terms on the research papers and published books on special needs education technology and assistive technology. A theoretical framework and concepts for the researchers in the field of special education technology and related areas based on the concept and model of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health with proposed thoughts by Satoshi Ueda(2005). Further issues to be discussed were also presented.
