Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we introduce a mobile sensing system using e-Bike for road infrastructure maintenance. We install a camera embedded a smartphone, 2DLiDAR, accelerometer and gyro sensors, and some environmental sensors, including temperature and humidity sensors to e-Bike. In the proposed system, by using the sensor-mounted e-Bike, we detect road damages, such as cracks, bumps and roughness, and pedestrian congestion. Through the preliminary field experiments, we demonstrate status of data collection by using prototype road damage detection application and evaluate accuracy of road bump detection by using 2DLiDAR and accuracy of pedestrian congestion by using 360-degree images. |
