Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Traffic collision is an extremely serious issue, and it is expected to realize connected car services that share car location and traffic camera stream with long term evolution (LTE) networks. To realize the connected car services, it is important for data chunks to meet their deadline constraints. Therefore, the authors have proposed a deadline-aware scheduling scheme that considers chunk size and the deadline in addition to radio quality, and decides prioritization of users with them in order to meet the deadline constraints by increasing the amount of data chunks having reached within the deadline constraints. It is expected that congestion level of evolved NodeB (eNB) varies according to their location, and congestion level of uplink differs from that of downlink in the same eNB. Therefore, to reduce the probability of packet discard on the eNB caused by deadline exceeded, each deadline for uplink and downlink should be adaptively set for the flow that is composed uplink and downlink sections, according to their congestion. Thus, in this paper, we propose a scheduling system to increase the amount of chunks that meets their deadline. The method allocates each deadline according to the number of deadline exceeded. Simulation confirms the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
