Abstract(in English) Transition edge sensors (TESs) exhibiting large thermal sensitivities, small dark count rates, and high energy resolution of a single optical photon have been applied to thermometers. Now, we are aiming to achieve optical cavity structures surrounding TESs to detect photons in the range of from optical wavelength to near-infrared wavelength with high efficiency in photon-counting microscopy for biological imaging.
