Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) has developed a small-vehicle stations equipped with the antenna system for automatic tracking for the Wideband InterNetworking engineering test and Demonstration Satellite "KIZUNA" (WINDS), it has become possible to build a satellite link while moving. We have already reported radio wave propagation measurements under a high speed mobile environment in a wide area. There is a large impact on the satellite communication by shadowing in satellite communication using directional antenna in Ka band with high rectilinearity in previous experiments. It is estimated that variation of the influence of shadowing depending on the season, as the condition of leaves depends on the four seasons for trees. Therefore, we measure the seasonal difference by measuring the attenuation of the received signal from the satellite throughout the year in several kinds of trees. We reported the propagation results of the variation of shadowing by trees from March to Dec in Feb. 2019. At the same time, we were also measuring the data transmission characteristics. In this report, we report the data transmission results of the influence of shadowing by trees from leaf-free state to leafy state.
