Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Mind-Wandering (MW) is phenomenon that cognitive processing of the external environment decreases in favor of internal processing. In regard to MW, there were many applied researches, but not many them in art appreciation. Our mind was easily apt to wander, when we felt tired, and uncomfortable, so MW are closely related with art appreciation. The aim of this experiment was to reveal situations MW occurred in painting observation and how the content of MW was influenced by beauty and genre of paintings. Moreover, eye-movement was measured. In result, beauty and genre of paintings influenced the content of MW.
