Abstract(in English) | In recent years, a capsule endoscope has been developed for decreasing the burden of patients. Current capsule endoscopes use a built-in battery as a power source. It is not preferable to use a battery harmful to the human body for the capsule endoscope. Therefore, wireless power transmission to capsule endoscopes has been proposed. In this research, since the radio wave radiation method is adopted, the development of transmission and reception antennas is required. We designed the Archimedes spiral antenna as the transmission antenna and the helical antenna as the reception antenna operating at 433.92 MHz. We have computed the reflection coefficient of the antennas using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. The reflection coefficient showed a sufficiently usable value at the desired frequency. And the change of a transmission efficiency by the distance between the antennas was investigated by using a simple human body model. |
