Abstract(in English) | This paper considers a smartphone positioning framework for seamless positioning to provide high quality service of location-based services (LBS). First, the general precision and combinations of positioning sub-systems at the present time are organized in terms of the type of location information. In addition, four new levels of definition are made for positioning precision. Then, based on the existing research on LBS, the requirements of LBS for positioning are arranged as follows: the type of location information, the required precision and accuracy, the calculation cost, and the presence or absence of tracking. Based on the combination of these LBS requirements, the categorization of LBS is performed, and examples of the combination of positioning sub-systems at the present time are shown. Consequently, the knowledge for realizing seamless positioning environments based on the smartphone positioning framework are obtained. |
