[Special Invited Talk] An overview of Ultra-reality communication technologies and expectations to its future QoE assessment

Abstract(in English) By recent advances of ICT, ultra-communication systems, which have reality qualitatively different from conventional audio-visual communications, are brought to realization. In this paper, toward the 30th anniversary of CQ technical committee, we offer an overview of ultra-reality technologies presented in this technical committee. Moreover, we describe the trend of study on Recommendations of Immersive Live Experience service by a system that realizes a realistic viewing and listening space using audio-visual technologies at ITU-T SG16. We also address the importance and expectations of future QoE assessment for this type of service.
