Abstract(in English) An intelligent augmented reality (AR) system requires comprehending symbols and their contexts in the real world. In this study, understanding symbols with contexts indicates recognizing appearances of symbols and contexts derived from the position of the symbols. We aim to realize a support system to develop context-aware image recognition systems, which consists of an object detector and a symbol classifier. The system helps developers to generate simulated training data that are needed to build the detector. In this paper, we explain how to synthesize training data by 3D CG based simulation.
