[Poster Presentation] A Study on Pseudo Traffic Generation Using Machine Learning

Abstract(in English) When we constructing a network, it is important to use a tra?c generator that generates realistic tra?c and perform load tests on network devices such servers. However, it is di?cult for tra?c generators to generate pseudo tra?c that reproduces the multi-aspect characteristics of actual tra?c. On the other hand, research on machine learning in the ?eld of image processing has been developed. In this paper, we propose a tra?c generator with machine learning technology which utilizes a dimensional compression method. The proposed method learns tra?c data of any length and generates tra?c. The validity of the generated tra?c is veri?ed using Kolmogorov-Smirnov test as a performance measure, which tests the equality of two probability distributions. We con?rmed that a distribution of generated tra?c was not far from that of the actual tra?c data.
