Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Physical wireless parameter conversion sensor networks (Phy-C-SN) was proposed to gather information at high time efficiency. In this method, a fusion center can simultaneously receive multiple signals from sensor nodes (SNs). It is because each of SNs transmits a subcarrier of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) which corresponds to its sensing information. It is important for wireless sensor networks to decrease the power consumption of SNs considering long-term information gathering. Then, the proposed method makes clusters based on the sensing value similarity among SNs. The SNs in the same cluster transmit their sensing information in turns. In a fusion center, the data from a SN is interpolated with the data from SNs belong to the same cluster in order to decrease the error and the number of transmissions. The total number of transmissions of whole network is decreased by 29.1% in the proposed method compared with in the conventional method in computer simulation. 95.7% of the transmissions also kept below the acceptable error in the proposed method.
