Abstract(in English) | Wireless communication using 920-MHz and 2.4-GHz band is expanding for the purpose of aggregating sensor data, telemetry, video monitoring and so on. As the result, it is expected that these radio bands are occupied by those signals at the specific area of outdoor. Furthermore, 920-MHz band will be more congest due to start LPWA services. In order to maintain the reliability of wireless communication using those bands, it is important to grasp the radio environment through periodic measurement. Therefore, we measured the radio environment of 920-MHz and 2.4-GHz band with a simple configuration at multiple points around Osaka city. From the obtained data, it is clarified that 2.4-GHz band was already crowded at many places and 920-MHz band is becoming to be busy in some areas even before the start of the LPWA service. |
