Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Simulation and measurement by a scale model have been used to estimate radiation strength emitted from PLC (Power Line Communication) system installed a large-scale structure. A common mode current is one of most important issue in PLC because it can be a source of radiated emission. The authors also measured the common mode current of a VVF cable as used in a factory. In order to construct a feasible scale model of PLC network in a factory, the authors proposed using the same size cable as the real scale model in the constructed scale model. Then the characteristic impedances of differential and common mode were calculated using quasi static simulator to determine the limitation of the proposed scaled model. Furthermore, a TCL (Transverse Conversion Loss) of a load circuit was evaluated to investigate the effect of parasitic capacitance. As a result, by using a scale model of about 1/10, it is possible to measure the common-mode current equivalent to that by real scale model. |
