Abstract(in English) | In color imaging, single sensor system with color filter array (CFA) is popular, especially with Bayer CFA. On the other hand, we have proposed new imaging system with pastel color CFA. In this system, the color plane reconstruction is realized with abstraction of the white like component from RAW images. To improve the performance, we discussed the usage of its high frequency component. However, the effect of noise to the performance imaging has not been discussed seriously in such imaging systems. In this report, we evaluate the effects to various imaging systems including the video coding. In the experiment, optical color filter and sensor noise are simulated by computer calculation. As results of experiments, it is recognized that the proposed method is less affected by the noise, and, has the advantage on the coding efficiency. |
