Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Multicast video distribution in wireless LANs transmits multicast frames at a fixed transmission rate. Therefore, conventional multicast has several problems that the receivable transmission rate differs due to the distance between the access point and stations (STA) and the propagation environment. In the previous research, we proposed a transmission rate control scheme based on the quality of experience (QoE) index using scalable video coding (SVC) for providing communication quality suitable to the receiving STAs environment. In this paper, we proposed a modified scheme to improve QoE characteristics in dynamic control. Moreover, we confirmed the dynamic performance of the proposed method by computer simulation.
