A method of detecting wake-up signal considering cumulative time probability for ISDB-T television receivers

Abstract(in English) For ISDB-T digital television receivers, the condition the receiver wakes up due to detection of the emergency automatic activation signal is considered in this report. The activation signal information is a 1-bit information indicating an emergency state. It is on the control signal the broadcaster repeatedly sends about every 0.2 seconds. However, mobile television receivers often erroneously receive such activation signals. Therefore, observing plural activation signals information and determining the activation by a predetermined threshold of the number of activation signals at the receiver are proposed. This activation threshold is analyzed from the mutual information to be obtained by the receiver.
