Abstract(in English) | We evaluate the characteristics of noise current and electromagnetic radiation from a single brush motor for EMI evaluation by modeling movable device including brush motors. In operating a brush motor, supply current is switched with repeated mechanical contacts, which can cause electromagnetic noise. The conventional devices with brush motor such as electrical tools can be applied to conventional EMI evaluation, the moveable device with brush motors will not be able to apply to the conventional EMI evaluation. In this paper, therefore, we investigate the characteristics of noise current and the relationship between noise current and electromagnetic radiation with brush motors operated for developing a noise model of brush motors. Comparing common-mode current and radiation, we observed the relationship between them. In addition, it is clarified that noise generation depends on the rotation period of motor. |
