| Abstract(in English) | This paper presents an overview of two research projects adopted by the Industrial Research Institute of Niigata Prefecture as part of the Strategic Information and Communications R&D Promotion Programme (commonly known as SCOPE) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. One is the development of a system that uses information and communications technology(ICT) to transfer skills in polishing and blading work in metal product manufacturing, and the other is the development of a virtual showcase to support the worldwide market promotion of traditional crafts. |
