Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To minimize damage during disasters, the rapid collection and delivery of accurate information are essential. Because of this, the potentiality of social media, especially Twitter, in the case of a disaster has attracted worldwide attention. In this study, by extracting words representing areas (prefecture names and municipality names) from tweets posted during a large-scale disaster occurred in 201 in Japan (such as 2018 Osaka North Earthquake and 2018 Western Japan Heavy Rain Disaster), we analyze the attention areas (areas mentioned a lot in tweets). Moreover, we report the consideration results of the change of attention areas by time and disaster type by visualizing the analysis result on the map.
