Abstract(in English) The bandwidth improvement of a patch array absorber by stacking metal patches was reported. However its design methods was not described. In this study, the equivalent circuit of a two-layered circular patch array absorber was estimated and the bandwidth was designed using the circuit. As the result, the effectiveness of the derived bandwidth design formula was confirmed.
