Proposal and Evaluation of Cluster-based Cache Distribution Scheme in Information-Centric Networking

Abstract(in English) Information-centric networking (ICN), which is novel network architecture designed for efficient information delivery services with in-network caching, has attracted much attention. To improve cache utilization efficiency, some approaches have been proposed. These schemes enable efficiently distributing and obtaining various caches over a network domain. However, the time needed to obtain information gets longer in larger scale networks. In this study, we propose an efficient cluster-based cache distribution scheme to improve the time needed to obtain information as well as cache utilization efficiency in ICN. Through simulation evaluations, we showed the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
