Deep learning-based classification for the automatic of eNodeB state management in LTE networks

Abstract(in English) It is crucial to identify the cause immediately when a failure occurs at base station of mobile communication. However, A huge amount of log data generated from the base station prevents the human operator to quickly identify the cause of failure. In this paper, we propose a method that employs machine learning algorithms to analyze KPI data generated from eNodeB and classify the status of the eNodeB. we used deep learning based on artificial neural networks. The result showed that our approach can realize about 94% accuracy. Furthermore, we proposed using AdversalialAutoencoder, which is a semi-supervised learning method. The AAE yields high accuracy even for the class with a small amount of labeled data. In addition, We evaluate the relathionship between the number of labeled data and the accuracy. We discover that the proposed method yields the accuracy of 90% with the 50 labels for each class.
