Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Magneto/electroencephalography (M/EEG) observe neural activities with high spatial-temporal resolution without invasive operation. However, the decomposition or dimensional reduction method with the spectral dynamics view was not developed yet. Here, we propose a new MEG signal decomposition method based on dynamic mode decomposition (DMD) and clustering. The method was tested for empirical tasks and resting MEG signals and it showed some components were decomposed into the same component with different phase map, which had been decomposed as different by independent component analysis (ICA). The suggesting method is expected as a low-cost spatial-temporal signal decomposition method and it can be applicable to the detection of oscillation-based neural activation such as cross-frequency coupling. |
