Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a secure routing protocol based on Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV) that achieves both security and efficient communication. This method allows the intermediate node to generate an RREP, which is impossible in the conventional methods due to the restriction of digital signature for RREQ. In the proposed method, each intermediate node holds a packet received from a specific node in the past, and appends the held packet to the RREQ of another node to generate its own signed RREP. This procedure guarantees that the third party holds the route to the destination. We compare the load on the network, the number of communications and the total number of bytes of packets flowing in the network, with conventional methods.
