Abstract(in English) | Machine learning-based accurate diagnosis of mental disorders is expected to support finding their biomarkers and understanding their underlying mechanism. Recent studies employed LSTM that effectively deals with time series data and DGM that identify brain regions contributed diagnosis mental disorder. Our group employed deep state-space modeling of fMRI data using only images and labels and perform better than above method. Thereby it is expected to improve the performance and reveal the effect of gender and age. Moreover it can extract complex feature, capture time-varying nature of the brain activities and identifies brain regions related to the disorders. |
