Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) At present, FTA and FMEA are often used as a safety analysis method and are effective in many cases. In the case of a software-centric system, however, analyzing its safety with those methods can be difficult because many interactions between subsystems lead to complex behavior. Recently, STAMP/STPA and STAMP/CAST, which are a safety-analysis method based on system-theoretic accident model and processes (STAMP) has been proposed and ensured to be effective in the aerospace field etc. In this paper, we will consider the application of STAMP/STPA to the switching work of railway signalling system.
