Abstract(in English) | In recent years, infrastructure facilities in Japan have been noticeably deteriorating and need to be inspected effectively. Skilled engineers inspect plant equipment such as infrastructure facilities near check points by visual observation. To do this effectively it is necessary for them to exteriorize the deterioration; however, Japan's social problems of a low national birthrate and an aging population have produced a shortage of engineers. The use of robotics has created a need for movable autonomous mechanisms. Our research focused on the basic design of the wall movement mechanism, and the task of concretely designing and verifying miniaturized mounting was confirmed. In this study, assume a 50 mm interval as an example of the area where the space between the equipment and the wall is narrow, and we examine a robot that can move on the wall with respect to this area. |
