Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper implements a mirroring function to interactive robots in order to build rapport between human and robot. Mirroring is a technology that mimics unconscious behavior of conversation partner as if it were mirrored. We conducted experiments to investigate whether the robot could mimic human gesture and the mimicry robot's impression on human during conversation with the robot that applied the robot mirroring system. As a result, it was shown that the mirroring robot system was able to mimic a person. However, the influence of the mimicry robot was considered and the composition of the re-experiment was examined because it cannot correctly evaluate the impression given to a person.
